1st UK press with solid blue triangle and A2 B2 matrix codes. A beautiful copy in close to Near Mint condition throughout with all inserts
Vinyl: visually Near Mint, grades easily as Excellent overall with just some very minor background crackle audible in some quiet areas. Overall this doesn't detract from what is fantastic audio and a professional clean may improve things even further as visually the playing surfaces are superb. The labels are clean and vibrant - see the photos which I have angled to show spindle marks of which there are just a handful suggesting a very lightly played copy indeed. A2 B2 codes signify first press.
Sleeve: Close to Near Mint but erring on the side of caution - this is an easily Excellent copy with just a small bump to the top corner by the spine. It is the first issue sleeve with a midnight blue hue. The second photograph shows the sleeve on offer here next to a later sleeve. Hopefully the difference in colour is clear. Further photos on request.
Inner/insert: The original black inner is Excellent. No splits and just minor handling evidence and with plastic liner intact. A sound copy with two patent numbers and the required 'Made in Great Britain' text in white.
Both posters and postcards are present and unused. One postcard has slight creasing where it has been caught in the gatefold at some point. They are the first issue 'Permanent' backed variants.
Overall a superb copy of a sought after record.
