Pink Floyd Dark side of the Moon: 1973 SHVL 804 A3/B3 (2nd issue) VG++ to Ex and a SUPERB PLAYING RECORD
I got this when it was released and played it a lot on my Linn/SME system but as described later it is stil fantastic.
This is the version on offer: https://www.discogs.com/Pink-Floyd-The-Dark-Side-Of-The-Moon/release/2655031
Sleeve: Gatefold with Black/white sticker on front. Minor edge wear, particularly at bottom ends (likely storage related). There is also wear along spine. Inside gatefold is in excellent condition. VG+
Inner sleeve: paper in vg+ condition and as seen I have added my catalogue notes in ink.
Vinyl: Still has a great sheen and only light surface marks consistent with age and times I played this in the 70’s!
I have test played on my Linn/SME/NAIM system and overall this is a SUPERB record: the clarity of sound is simply superb and the music doesn't sound like over 40 years old. Just listening to guitar playing on 'Money' side 2 at high volume was a treat!! The vocal solo at end of side one was penetrating.
Overall it is so so crisp and clear it was a joy to listen to it after so many years (I probably last played this 30 years ago).
There are some light pops at various points but not unexpected. A few louder pops at start of TIME but they are short-lived. Overall this plays without any other distraction.
