Offered here is an extremely scarce Japanese first pressing white label promotional copy of Pink Floyd – Meddle, catalog number OP-80375, released December 1971 by Odeon/EMI Japan.

This is the highly desirable white label promo ("見本 / Not For Sale") issue supplied by Toshiba/Odeon for radio stations and industry use before commercial release.

Finding one complete with both obis, booklet, and poster is exceptionally difficult.

The record shows a number of superficial sleeve marks, hairlines, and light scuffs under strong lighting, but nothing feelable.

Most importantly...

Playback is significantly better than the visual appearance.

Playback is a solid VG+ with:

• quiet music reproduction throughout

• light crackle/faint background noise mainly during silent lead-ins, lead-outs and quieter passages

• only a handful of isolated clicks per side

• no skips

• no sticks

• no repeating clicks

Nothing I hear is distracting from enjoying the music.
