This is the 1st press of Pink Floyd's 'Meddle' LP with the textured gatefold cover inside and out with 1st press matrix numbers.  The vinyl itself plays back superbly with hardly any surface noise even in the quiet parts.

Pink Floyd – Meddle LP notes:
1st press release on Harvest records (SHVL 795) from 1971
1st press matrix numbers: A-1U / B-1U
1st press gatefold cover textured inside and out
Original EMI/Harvest polylined inner sleeve
The labels are in excellent condition with signs of spindle marks
Playback is excellent with virtually no surface noise except some light crackle in places

Album cover grading (VG+ overall):
Front and back covers are still in very good+ condition, some light creasing, scuffing, small numbered sticker
No writing on cover or labels (except a small numbered sticker on one label)
Some scuffing on edges of cover
Some scuffing to spine

Vinyl grading (EX overall):
Side 1: EX+ (a few light sleeve removal marks)
Side 2: VG+ (one light/medium surface mark)

Matrix numbers (and runout groove markings):
Side 1: SHVL 795 A-1U          stampers: 2       OL
Side 2: SHVL 795 B-1U          stampers: 3       HG

Vinyl notes:
Both sides have been played on a Rega RP1 turntable with an Ortofon OM5E cartridge (tracking weight: 1.5g - 2.0g) and listened to on a pair of high end Sennheiser headphones.

A-side:
Virtually no surface noise, excellent playback

B-side:
Virtually no surface noise, excellent playback

The records are sent in new good quality record mailers with 2 stiffeners.  The vinyl is always removed from the covers to avoid seam splits in transit.

I tend to be over critical of a records condition as it is not my intention to misrepresent what I am selling.  I want the buyer to feel what they have bought is as described although not everyones opinion of its condition will be the same as mine.  If you have any doubts or questions about this record, please ask me and I will try to be as helpful as I can.
