Pink Floyd – Meddle (1971) | Spanish First Pressing | Unique Cover Variant
This is an original early 1970s Spanish first pressing of Meddle by Pink Floyd, issued by EMI/Harvest. Unlike the standard UK and US editions, which featured a minimalist sleeve with no band name or title on the front, this Spanish edition includes the artist name and album title printed directly on the front cover.
This design variation is widely believed to have been a result of Spain’s publication requirements under the Franco-era government, which often mandated clearer identification of media products for retail and censorship purposes. These early Spanish pressings are of particular interest to collectors for their historical context and rarity.
