Pink Floyd, 'Meddle'.Original UK Harvest stereo press LP.
Pink Floyd's 6th LP with David Gilmour's guitar coming to the fore, especially on Echoes, which was performed live at Pompeii for the film of the same name. With the A-4 B-3 matrices & 'The Gramophone Co...' label text of the later first presses (see the Pink Floyd Archives.com). The Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd textured gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light corner/edge wear & light storage rubbing on the rear cover. The spine is intact, but slightly flattened and only partly readable, the plain inner is intact & in EX condition. The record is in visually EX+ condition, with only one or two faint sleeve removal hairlines visible under bright light on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of only one or two light spindle markings on each side. The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some very brief light background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great, clear & punchy listen! The matrix nos. are; SHVL-795, A-4 stamper 1-HA, B-3 stamper 2-HD. This is one of the later copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1971 UK stereo issue of this album!
All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems!! All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2 KG!,
Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Finland, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to weight restrictions.
