Description
I had a very enjoyable afternoon restoring this to the best condition I could for a 50 year old record. I have cleaned the record twice with a Moth record cleaning machine and I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to the improvement. It bought back great memories of the days when Roger Waters and David Gilmour could put music before their egos. Having play tested the record it plays through very well with no skips or jumps. There are a few crackles and pops in places but not enough to spoil the enjoyment of hearing this great album on vinyl.
This is an original 1971 UK First pressing in the texture gate-fold sleeve. The sleeve is in very good condition. There are no splits, just minimal wear for a record of this age. The spine is scuffed, so barely readable.
The record is in very good plus condition. It has some very minor surface hairline marks and the label on side two is torn as shown in the photos.
All in all for 50 year old original it's in great shape. Harvest EMI SHVL 795 Matrix Matrix / Runout (A-side runout stamped, Variation 5): SHVL 795 A -3 (RO at 3 o' clock and 3 at 9 o'clock). Matrix / Runout (B-side runout stamped, Variation 5): SHVL 795 B- 1U (Looks like 100 at 3 o'clock and 1 at 9 o'clock).
