Description

An original 1st issue of OBCs on the UK Harvest label. Matrix A2/B2. Stampers 1-AD/3-MP. Please note the labels exhibit the 'Gramophone' text around the perimeter found only on the 1st issue. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original rounded corner sleeve. Also included is the original Harvest inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen very light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Floyd needs a clean player every time otherwise you're going to be left disappointed. Beautiful quality clean audio from this early low-mileage copy...even in the slow-build passages. That plain song write at the end of the LP is very clean - and that's not always an easy find. Interference is pretty much non-existent just a couples of crackles in the opening intro, and then maybe a couple in or two other isolated brief moments....otherwise a practically perfect rendition. 
Cover (Ex) In lovely condition - especially considering these OBC covers are infamous for wear. Nice and clean front and back with little creasing at all, and only the lightest ageing. Edge wear is light for this title and the openings are still sharpish. The spine is mostly legible with only lightest wear - way better than the average example that surfaces. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity and lies totally flat. An impressive example and one that would be difficult to better.
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing at the glue points. No splits.
