Description

An original 1st issue of OBSCURED on UK Harvest from 1972. Matrix A1/B1 - 1st cut. Please note the perimeter text on the labels mentions 'Gramophone'. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original textured round cornered cover. There's the 'Vallee' promo sticker in the top right. This sticker can be found on earliest copies before Floyd fell out with the producers. We also have an original Harvest inner from the time too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In nice condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of the light marks per side, and one semi-feelable mark half way though side 1 which does sound [see detail]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Very nice clean audio by and large - but there is one noticeable defect which we've alluded to above. There's a mark in "Gold" which causes about 10 light ticks in the middle of the song. Thankfully most of this occurs in the louder parts of the song. It is audible, but not overtly obvious. If you can live with one issue the rest of the LP plays superb.
Cover (Vg) In decent condition, but not up to the standard of the vinyl. First thing to note is that it is flat and relatively uncreased. There is some light edge wear in a couple of spots - but nothing bad. The spine is aged a bit, but text pretty much all still legible. Overall the cover retains very good rigidity.
Inner (Vg) A bit aged. Bag present. A one inch side split,.
