MATRIX NUMBERS: YAX 3419-1 & YAX 3420-1

Here for sale is the ALBUM  by PINK FLOYD titled "THE PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN". This is an original UK 1st STEREO PRESSING released on the  COLUMBIA RECORD LABEL in 1967, catalogue No: SCX 6157. Most sellers claim that the MONO release is much rarer than the STEREO release. If that is the case, I do not understand why most copies of this album for sale on eBay in the past have been mono!?

SLEEVE: (EX) Front laminated only flip back cover printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co Ltd., London is in excellent condition, only the slightest laminate lift, creases, and ring wear, no writing, rips or any other faults. The spine is perfect as is the text on it. The back cover designed by Syd Barrett is again excellent with the slightest of wear to the flip backs.

INNER SLEEVE: (EX+) Original EMI advertising inner sleeve with NO tears and just minor creasing.

RECORD: (EX-)  There are no visible scratches just a few light marks which only have a slight effect on the sound quality.  The label  is the original black Columbia label with a BLUE Columbia trademark logo. The label of the disc shows slight spindle damage but is in all other respects perfect. The vinyl is still very glossy.
