The Pink Floyd - The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn
(Columbia SX 6157 UK LP 1967)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve (E.J. Day). This does not have the "File Under Pop" text on the upper flipback. It comes with its original company plain paper inner sleeve - which is in VG++ condition.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has black & blue Columbia labels. They have "The Gramophone Co..." and "Sold in UK..." texts. "KT" is stamped around the spindle hole on Side 1. It has 1st press -2/ -1 matrix stampers. The mother stampers are R 1 and M 1. A genuine UK 1st pressing of this essential UK Psych LP.
Sleeve: There is a very small 1 cm bit of wear, & seam split, to the bottom sleeve opening. Otherwise some mild rubbing wear to the other corner tips and sleeve opening. VG+ condition.
Vinyl: There are some considerable sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are a few small and light hairline marks. Good condition. There is a small initial on Side 1's label in pencil. Otherwise the labels are clean & show mild to moderate spindle wear. Plays VG to VG+. There is some light, or more mild, crackle in some quieter passages.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.50 to £7.75 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.25 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £30. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
