Description
Following a light cleaning I did see a number of small marks on both sides most of which appear of have been caused from the original paper sleeve. I did complete a test play through Grado PS1000e’s and there was some light surface noise in the quiet areas. On Side A during the third verse of 'See Emily Play' I heard three pops and in the B Side I heard one during 'Interstellar Overdrive" and because of these issues I am scoring the vinyl a 78, a solid VG+. Beyond those issues the cumulative quality of the play is more along the lines of excellent. Vinyl has been placed in a new MoFi sleeve. I score the cover a 80 (better than VG+ by a bit at least) There is light wear within the corners, most noticeably on the two right corners. As shown in the last two pictures you can see the shrink has come loose a bit and is able to fold down. Within the top front and top rear of the cover there is rub wear (on the front you can see it most noticeably above the word 'Stereo'. There are also faint wear spots (for example with Rick and Syd's hair) however some of the other spots I can see when I'm looking my CD copy of this album, it's certainly nothing I could feel (in other words there is no groove in these spots). Within the seams there is light wear, most noticeably in the spots where the shrink has come loose however there are no outright splits. The album will be shipped in between cardboard with the vinyl outside of the jacket within a Whiplash record mailer. If you have any other questions please let me know and thanks for looking!
