Pink Floyd: Piper At The Gates Of Dawn              UK EMIDISC acetate

On offer here are rare UK  acetates by Pink Floyd called ’ Piper At The Gates Of Dawn’ from 1967 .

These  12 inch, 2 x 1 single- sided, mono  acetates have Emidisc labels with hadwritten titles.I don’t know

wether this acetate version is the same or different from  the released one. I haven’t got the original

mono or stereo edition. I have checked the running times of the songs on  the acetates and I have

compared with the running times that I have found on  the next website.

Most of the songs are shorter with few  seconds on  the acetates like on  the released version (see below).

For example the song „Bike’ is shorter with 1’35 seconds.

Both acetates are in nice condition . Visually graded VG++ , few very light surface marks .Plays very well !!!!

 I would like to describe their quality. I have received many emails about the light in which I’ve checked the condition of the acetates.I controlled them in the ordinary daylight first,and the result is that they have VG++ condition or rather better.And now I have checked them in the strong sunlight too,in  this way more hairline marks can be seen, the condition is only VG+ .These marks don’t cause any problems in  the sound quality at all (except only very few light surface noises). Plays excellent!!
