With 'Sold in UK..' label text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims
'KT' tax/price code on side 1 label.
Rare, early 'Ernest J. Day' printed, tri-flipback mono cover without the 'File Under..' text on the upper flipback.
Complete with original black & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
Matrix nos: XAX 3419-2 & XAX 3420-1
Stampers: 1/M & 1/G
The '1/G' stamper code on side 2 shows that this copy was one of the first 3-500 copies pressed.

Visual: EXCELLENT
Pristine, clean & glossy surfaces which apart from a light 2cm fingernail scuff on side 1, are completely unmarked when viewed in strong daylight. A few wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines are visible directly under halogen light but there are no other significant marks or any scratches anywhere.
Audio: EXCELLENT
This oustanding copy has recieved just a few careful plays on good quality equipment. Some normal light background can be heard at the beginning of the first track on each side but there is silence between each track with no clicks or pops anywhere. All frequencies are clear and there is no signficant groovewear or any major audible faults anywhere.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Superb clean, strong & undamaged cover with an undamaged, unworn front laminate which bears just a few small wrinkles to the laminate but no major creasing or wear. The corners have just a touch of minor storagewear but the opening edge are both clean, sharp & unworn. The rear panel is clean & unmarked with no writing or missing paper. All flipbacks, seams & the spine are clean, strong & undamaged.
Inner: VERY GOOD
Some light toning and catalogue number written in one corner but no seam splits.
