Description
I am the first owner of this box set (purchased it at a record store in Washington DC). I remember playing it once when I bought it but haven't played it since. I've stored it carefully for 22 years and think maybe it is time for a PF fan to add it to their collection.
Please see the photos - these are part of the description. I'd rate the outer box VG+ (edge bumps and some rubs as noted - this is a heavy item). The inner book and LPs themselves are in the EX/NM area. The inner part of the set is very impressive; much better than the outer box which suffers a bit because of how heavy the set is (about 5 pounds). NOTE: the LPs are in heavy card sleeves, which wasn't exactly the best way to store records. There are some light wisps on the vinyl but they maintain full luster for the most part. I put one of the discs on my setup (ortofon bronze cartridge) and it sounded great; this is mastered well and the sound fills the room. I haven't play-graded the whole thing; pops/crackles possible on a 22 year old set. I haven't cleaned it - I'll leave that to you if you desire.
