First issue pressing WEST COAST US LP of Pink Floyd's A Saucerful Of Secrets on TOWER RECORDS (ST 5131) in spectacular condition. Disc is an original 1968 pressing with thick ultra glossy looking vinyl and the orange-brownish Tower labels. Jacket has a #6 on the back indicating that is a Los Angeles, CA pressing.

What makes this also particularly unusual is that it is a contract pressing manufactured by Columbia Records for Capitol Records. When Capitol Records could not keep up with their production schedule at their own factories, they would contract out to other record disc manufacturers to meet their deadlines. This is an example of one of those rare discs. We have determined that due to the 2 & 11/16" diameter ring around the center hole, that this LP was pressed by Columbia Records at their Santa Maria, California factory making it extremely RARE! Capitol Records pressing plants used a 1 & 1/2" diameter ring around the center hole. It also is missing the other dead wax stampings of the three Capitol Records pressing plants of 1968.

Grading:
Jacket grades (NM-) Jacket is super clean in every way. NO writing, NO marks, NO seam splits, NO sticker or glue residue. Just a minimum of age wear.
Labels grade (NM/NM) Both labels are super clean and look near perfect. No marks.
Vinyl (NM-/NM-) Super glossy, THICK & HEAVY vinyl disc looks beautiful. Super clean and looks to have been played only a handful of times. Disc lies perfectly flat. It is NOT WARPED.
Inner sleeve: Original white inner sleeve is included.
