Pink Floyd Saucerful of secrets lp original columbia pressing - Just added a video demo, not the best but it gives you an idea - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fj0zgBlkBCI&feature=youtu.be SIDE ONE: SX6258 Stamper: XAX 3633-1 SIDE TWO: SX6258 Stamper : XAX3634-1 The labels , apart from a few spindle marks as can be seen in the picture are in amazing condtion look almost untouched The sleeve is in really good condition, a handful of creases along the flip back edges but more a result of the picnhing in manufacture rather than anything else i assume, comes with EMI Sleeve there is a sticker from a record store on the back but as one can see from the picture its not hideous its intact and untorn so not so bad but im sure if you took the time it could be taken off, i think it adds to the flavour. The record itself, well i would say this is in excellent condition ive played it through a few times (more in to motown myself) but can say it sounds great really good, under strong light you can see hairline scratches on each side but nothing that i noticed affected the sound too much (no skips). On the first track of the second side there was some clicking for about five seconds but it could have been on the track as it got louder and quieter and could have been someone clicking their fingers (i dont know this album) there is little bit of marking on the same said track right at the start if you can see it on the pictures but i didnt hear it make any difference, maybe the odd fingerprint along the edges but a quick clean will sort that out. A bit of pop and crackle but very slight and not throughout largely in great condition, I haven't cleaned this at all so i'm sure once someone does it will come up even better. Ill let the pictures do the rest of the talking feel free to ask me any questions UK Bidders only please I do not accept returns on this item Ill be happy to listen through again any tracks where you think you can see scratches or anything on the picture but overall id say its in excellent condition especially for its age. On 06-May-12 at 15:32:09 BST, seller added the following information:Just had another listen and got to say it sounds great think some of the sound on the video is more due to the volume and my camera rather than the record, the very light mark i mentioned on side 2 cannot be felt when you run your finger over it and aside. Like I said before no skips and in most areas the sound is quite amazing. Just tried to find the mark on side 2, struggled to find it as it can only be seen from one angle, its just the way the light reflects no dirt or anything meaning it could be where a drop of water or just the vinyl itself, again havent noticed anything in the sound, overall though pretty spectacular looking vinyl.
