Description

My friend John and I were both avid Pink Floyd fans in the 1960s and always bought their new releases together on the first day of issue.

I had a portable mono record player which was taken to all the parties and my copy was well played and enjoyed by all before it vanished at some point in the past.  By contrast John's copy had very little play.  He didn't have his own record player but his parents had a very sophisticated (and expensive) stereo hi-fi system which he was not allowed to use - well not when his parents were in!

As a result his record has survived in excellent playable condition and he has asked me to sell it on his behalf.

I have listened to both sides of the record a few times - through headphones on a Bang & Olufsen deck with a MMC 20S cartridge so the description below is 100% accurate.

Record:

Title and artist:              See Emily Play c/w Scarecrow - The Pink Floyd.

Label and number:       Columbia DB 8214

Mono or Stereo:            Mono.

Matrix numbers:           Side 1 - 7 XCA 30214-1

                                       Side 2 - 7 XCA 30215-1

Visual condition:

Nice gloss surface and lovely clean labels.

Audio condition:           No skips, pops, clicks or jumps.

The playing quality is just superb with just a much fuller sound than heard on later reissues such as 'Relics' etc.

Both sides play almost perfectly with just a light crackle on the run ins and run outs.

It never sounded like this on my mono record player!
