Up for sale is a highly collectible, early 1979 audiophile edition of Pink Floyd’s masterpiece, The Dark Side of the Moon. This prestigious release was custom-pressed in Japan by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL) using JVC’s legendary, semi-translucent Super Vinyl compound.This version features MFSL's elite half-speed master cut. By running both the original master tape and the lacquer cutting lathe at exactly half their normal speed, the cutting stylus was given double the time to carve the groove. This meticulous engineering process ensures unparalleled tracking precision, a wide-open soundstage, and spectacular frequency response, capturing every nuance of the iconic recording with virtually zero distortion.
