Description
Rare 1979 French Pathe Marconi eleven LP vinyl album box set of reissues for the first eleven Pink Floyd records. Italian manufactured but pressed for the French market.

I bought this set new over 25 years ago and it is now showing it's age. The box is sound with no splits or deformation but it is undeniably scruffy especially as it was stored in an attic for about 10 years.
The albums have fared better having been protected by the box and are in generally good condition. the good news/bad news exception is Dark Side of the Moon. When I bought the box set I already had a copy of DSOM and so never unwrapped the copy in the box. When examining the records for this auction I saw that the record appeared to have been constricted by the heavy duty 1970's shrink wrap and so I removed it (sorry). The record is indeed very warped (although it still plays) but has the advantage of being stored in a new looking cover containing mint inserts.
I tried to find another of these for sale to get a price comparison but I failed. This is a very hard to find item.
