Description

Pink Floyd authentic 1967 The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn mono Columbia Records UK SX 6157.
Syd Barrett's brilliance just shines on this outstanding album.
Issued on thick black vinyl EMI Pressed blue black Columbia labels with the earliest possible K T tax code on side one.
XAX 3419 - 2 w/ K T tax code stamp 
XAX 3420 - 1
Mothers stampers….Side 1    1 GA    Side 2    1 GH  (Three o'clock nine o'clock).
Second pressing, pressed just weeks after first pressing.
This mono mix has much more bass than the stereo pressings.
Record condition: EX+  There are some wispy marks, though there's hardly any surface noise even in between tracks.There are no loud clicks,sticks,pops or clicks. This thick vinyl hasn't lost much of its sheen (see scans).
Album cover condition: EX++  A beauty!  Ernest J. Day printed try-flip back cover. Syd Barrett designed the rear cover….There's no writing stains or tears and only some very trivial creasing to the cover….The rear cover has no real issues at all.
The black and blue Columbia labels have hardly any spindle wear and there's no writing on them.
Comes with the original EMI curved inner sleeve, which has many albums listed on both sides including The Beatles Revolver….The sleeve is in great shape.
The sleeve has "Patents Applied For" at the bottom.
These Pink Floyd mono releases of The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn are extremely hard to find in this condition.
I've been collecting records for over 52 years now and this album is from my personal collection.
