Description

This is a fine first pressing of THE WALL by Pink Floyd, released 1979. This is the Canadian first pressing on Columbia Records. It has the traditional markings of a first pressing, with only Roger Waters credited on the sleeve and the picture labels.
RECORDS
All sides of this double LP are in truly excellent condition, I can quite conservatively grade these as EX with only a few minor scuffs and blemishes present which don't affect playback. This record plays beautifully and is warm and crisp. I have cleaned and brushed the records, but they may require an additional clean upon receipt.
SLEEVE
Sleeve is in VG condition, with some signs of age with edge and ring wear as well as some blemishes and indentations and an apparent water stain at the bottom centre of this gatefold sleeve. The sleeve still feels thick and sturdy. Some blemishes/stains may be intended on this original artwork, it is unclear.
The gatefold contains the wonderful artwork by Gerald Scarfe, vibrant and colourful with few blemishes. 
INNERS
The thin inners that contain the records have deteriorated slightly with age, with some discolouration common with these kinds of sleeves. However, the artwork and lyrics are still wonderfully legible and clear.
LABELS
All four labels show the Scarfe artwork in line with first pressings of this record, they have additional trademarks of the Canadian pressings, ie. the 'Marcas Reg.' credit
