Pink Floyd "The Wall"
This is an original US vinyl pressing on Columbia 36183 from 1979. It is a promo copy of this double album. The front cover has the clear title sticker at the top and two time strips at the bottom. The back cover has the clear title sticker at the bottom and two more time strips at the top. ( and they are upside down !! ) The back cover is also promo stamped at top left. Each label has " Demonstrastion Not For Sale" printed at top right.
This is one of their very best albums. It includes the hits :Another Brick In The Wall, Don't Leave Me Now, Hey You, Comforably Numb, and Run Like Hell.
The songs are : In The Flesh, The Thin Ice, Another Brick In The Wall (Part1), The Happiest Days Of Our Lives, Another Brick In The Wall ( Part 2), Goodbye Blue Sky, Empty Spaces, Young Lust, One Of My Turns, Don't Leave Me Now, Another Brick In The Wall (Part 3 ), Goodbye Crulel World, Hey You, Is There Anybody Out There, Nobody Home, Vera, Bring The Boys Back Home, Comfortable Numb, The Show Must Go On, In The Flesh, Run Like Hell, Waiting For The Worms, Stop, The Trail, and Outside The Wall.
Overall Condition is : Cover is M- / Record is M- and M-
The gatefold cover is Mint minus with no ring wear, no writing , and no seam splits. The vinyls look near mint and they play near mint. There is the slightest unevenness to the pressings, but they play perfect with no distortion. The labels are perfect with no spindle marks. The records come in a custom lyric inner sleeves.
About Me :
I started collecting records in 1966. I started selling in Goldmine in 1985. I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.
Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! ) I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
Postage : Weight : 1 pound 10 ounces
You have to pay for the postage. I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges. There are no handling charges. This record will weigh 26 ounces ( 1 pound, 10 ounces ) when ready to ship. US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail. All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number. Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International. You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number. ( Buyers from Brazil must assume all risks for shipping to their country. ) I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday) I will combine shipping if you win more than one record. Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
