Description

PINK FLOYD             Wish You Were Here            Harvest (EMI) SHVL 814
Up for auction is an original 1975 UK Harvest (EMI) pressing Pink Floyd's 9th studio lp, "Wish You Were Here". Lots and lots of Rick Wright synth on this one. Roy Harper on vocals for "Have a Cigar".

DEAD WAX INFO:   Side 1 has SHVL 814 A-1 ALD 4 all stamped into the dead wax. Side 2 has SHVL 814 B-5 GMD 3 all stamped into the dead wax, and HTM etched into the dead wax. A1 / B5 variant of first UK pressing (with Harry Moss etching Side 2 run-out), circa 1975.

  •
VINYL VISUAL: VG+ at best with light marking, and not a lot at that. Small lateral scratch run-in and very first groove Side 1.
VINYL PLAY GRADE: VG+ and much better for the most part. Actually a really good listen. A wee bit noisy in the quiet parts, but never even close to distracting. The lateral scratch mentioned above causes 3 ticks, the last of which happens JUST BEFORE THE MUSIC STARTS, so no issue here really.
COVER VISUAL: VG+ at best with general wear and some soiling, and a wee bit of creasing at corners. Spine and seams are no problem. OK example of original G & L sleeve.
Comes with original first variant cardboard lyric/credits/picture inner (top corner and bottom left corner angle-cut - when looking at blowing red veil picture side of inner). NO POSTCARD. LP is held in UK EMI paper inner which I have lined with an Audiophile style rice plastic inner.   DETAILS ON SELLER AND SHIPPING
HELLO ALL. My name is Jamie, and I have been collecting records steadily for over 45 years.  After a bit of a respite from selling on Ebay, I am back and will be selling a ton of stuff over the next few years. My tastes run all over the map, so there will be something for everyone. All opened items will be visually AND aurally graded. All Dead Wax info will be listed. Play grade is done on a Thorens TD 165 through Yamaha amplification and JBL reference headphones (treble set high so there will be no surprises when you get the item).
ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED WITH PROPER MAILERS AND EXTRA PADDING, PARTICULARLY AT THE CORNERS. I HAVE MADE FAR TOO MANY PURCHASES ON EBAY WHERE THE ITEM HAS ARRIVED WITH DINGED CORNERS DUE TO INADEQUATE PACKAGING MATERIAL. BY USING FOLDED BUBBLE WRAP IN ALL FOUR CORNERS, YOU CAN BE ASSURED OF AN ITEM WITHOUT DINGED CORNERS (OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND FOR THAT MATTER).             Non-tracked shipping throughout the U.S.A will be $13 CANADIAN per item, as will tracked shipping within Canada. Tracked shipping to the U.S.A. will be $16 CANADIAN for items under 500g, and slightly more for items over 500g. Most single sleeve items can be shipped as under 500g. Gatefolds and multi-sets will be over 500g.
Being a reasonable person, I will be absorbing ALL of the shipping material cost, and some of the actual postage cost.
If you have issue with an item, PLEASE work with me to achieve an outcome that will be to your satisfaction. I do offer full refunds (excluding cost to get it back to me), on any item that is not satisfactory.       SINCE SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE (Thank You Canada Post), I will rarely list gatefolds or multi-items for sale overseas. IF ANYONE OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS CRAZY INTERESTED IN ANY ITEM, I WILL QUOTE SHIPPING ON REQUEST. Since a lot of the stuff that I will be selling is of higher end quality, rarely will things be offered overseas. Sorry folks. Again, I can consider requests on an item-by-item basis. THANKS FOR READING, everyone.       Occasionally I will be selling rare and collectible CDs. Shipping obviously will be much less, around $5 CANADIAN within North America.
