Description
Over the next couple of days I will be listing a quite lovely collection of Pink Floyd albums.
These will not include recent re-releases, dodgy quality recordings, or anything even remotely like. These will all be of excellent quality, some even better than that. They will include some UK 1st pressings, and if not they will be extremely early pressings. All matrix/mother/stamper combinations will be listed (so long as they are readable!) so you can tell exactly what you are bidding on. All gradings are visual only, strictly to record collector guidelines.
So here we have one of Floyds most iconic titles. "Wish you were here". This is the CBS half speed mastered edition from the USA. Not the mark 1 version that was awful, due to a huge error at the mastering stage. This is the mark 2 version, with all faults corrected. Sold with extras, including the postcard that came with normal pressings, an additional promotional postcard, and the cherry on top, an original and genuine (not a copy) tour programme from 1974/75 which is in superb condition.
- Cream cover is in quite lovely condition for its age, always stored in protective polythene cover. It has just a couple of light creases but is very clean and without storage wear. Graded as excellent.
- Vinyl is in great shape. No marks worthy of note. Very well cared for example. Nice deep black sheen and with no marks of particular note. Graded as visually excellent.
- Both postcards are present and in pristine condition. No issues with either. Graded as excellent plus.
- The tour programme is in excellent condition. Slightly discoloured with age on the cover, but a quite rare and beautiful example that is getting on for 50 years old now. Very solid and intact. A rare item in its own right and great to keep with this rare album too.
All albums will be housed in a brand new heavy duty polythene cover. All vinyl's will be housed in a new anti-static inner sleeve. I pack my albums for transit in the most secure packaging imaginable and send 1st class signed for postage with The Royal Mail. I only charge exactly what it costs me!
I accept returns if I am notified immediately upon you receiving the album. This has to be due to it being wrongly described. Not just for a change of mind. I take the time to provide quality photographs of the album, along with a detailed description, so please respect this.
I will post overseas if you contact me first, due to issues in the past and ebays new postage rules it is in both our interests to do so. Failing to contact me first may mean I cancel your bid.
