Pink Floyd.The Division Bell. Bought by myself in 1994 just before seeing them at Earls Court in London.

This is not a copy, coloured vinyl, heavy vinyl or remaster but the very rare 1st pressing UK. It is just on the border of Excellent.

I played through last night to grade audibly as well as visual.


Side 1 . First track.(Cluster one)

Clicks for 30 seconds straight away then after that for the rest of the side just the odd pop now and again which are very few and far between.  Obviously a scratch on the 1st track but it isnt visible.

Side 1 wax looks perfect as do labels. Plays superb other than what Ive stated.


Side 2 .  Track 3 . (Keep talking)

5 clicks right at the end of this track. All rest of 2nd side just an odd pop but very few and far between.

Gatefold sleeve has corner rubbing to the corners. Spine fully readable.  Still has the original HMV price sticker when I purchased it. I have never attempted to remove it.

I have taken the album out of the PVC gatefold protective sleeve for the photo's.  It has been in this protective sleeve for at least 20 of its years. I will include this along with the Nagaoka anti static sleeve the vinyl is in.


The wax shows no signs of any scratches but there must be due to the 2 places it clicks.  It is not warped and dose not jump.

I have always cleaned my precious vinyl with my Moth RCM2 record cleaning machine.

It has only been played on high end turntables and geometry of tonearm always set up perfectly so there is no groove damage whatsoever.

Sound quality is awesome, not surprising being a 1st press.

An immensely enjoyable vinyl album which due to it's rarity I have graded to the best of my knowledge.

Gradings are based on the Rare record Price Guides which I buy every 2 years relentlessly.
