From the archives of a noted Australian rock’n’roll and entertainment historian comes this great piece of Aussie music history. Pip Proud. A Bird In The Engine. Australian pressing. 1969. International Polydor Productions. LPHM 109. Infamous acid / folk LP, a truly curious project but it’s rare as hell so you’re probably not buying it for the quality of the vocals or songwriting. Record in Good Plus condition, numerous scratches, many notable although don’t affect play. There are, however, numerous pops and crackles, surface noise in quieter passages.
