Description
This is an opportunity to acquire an original, rare and perfectly playing recording of this Jazz Classic. My late husband was a collector of Jazz records and I have inherited them. They haven’t been played since 1990 and I would love them to find new homes. This London Recording is “Jazz” Series LTZ-K15052 The matrix is side one is AML - 468 x - 1B and Side two AML - 469 - 1B. There is also on the fade out RT and a small 1 and U Side one tracks are: Pithecanthropus Erectus A Foggy Day Side two tracks are: Profile of Jackie Love Chant The cover is in not very good condition although there are no tears the bottom and top edges are a bit rough. The opening edge is curled a bit and the film is lifting on the top right hand corner. The spine edge is good. The reverse is discoloured by age particularly along the opening edge, there is a ring mark where it has been stored and the film is missing in one area and lifting a bit. The bottom of the reverse looks as though it has been damaged a bit. Please look at the photographs to see. There is an inner lining but it seems to be stuck and I don’t want to pull it as I might tear it. The vinyl is bright and heavy, there are very few hairline surface scratches it really is in remarkable condition. The labels are clean and perfect. There are faint spindle marks when held to the light. I have played the record through and I cannot stress enough how perfectly it plays. There are no clicks or slurs or jumps. I haven’t cleaned the record as I might damage it. I am not a professional seller so please do message me if there is a question you would like answered and I will reply speedily.
