Description
"Please please me" excellent condition original 60s LP by the Beatles!
This auction is for an "Please please me" LP by the Beatles.
It is a mono recording on the Parlophone label.
The matrix numbers are:
XEX 421-1N (Side 1)
XEX 422-1N (Side 2)
The outer sleeve is labelled as 'Printed and Made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd. London' and the disc as 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd'. The outer sleeve and disc also contain the identifier PMC1202. The outer sleeve contains a further identifier PCS3042.
This item has been in the same ownership since new, over 40 years now. The sleeve is in excellent condition for its age. The corners and seams are fully intact and there are no real signs of wear. On the back, there is very faint discolouration but this appears to be the result of natural ageing rather than grubby hands.
The disc itself is also in excellent condition - there are a couple of very faint, very small scuff marks but it looks superb for its age.
Please see the pictures below for a better idea of the condition of this item.

Apologies to overseas ebay-ers, but this is strictly a UK-only auction.
