Description
Stellar jazz line up on this rare 1964 live release recorded before an invited audience at Decca's Studio One, and issued on the Argo label, including Michael Garrick (piano), Joe Harriott (alto sax) and Shake Keane (trumpet and flugel horn).
There's also poetry read by Jeremy Robson and Laurie Lee.
The front and back laminated flipback sleeve is in very good condition, only a small 3cm spine split (pictured) preventing an excellent grade.
The vinyl has marks and hairlines but plays through well with a little surface noise at times and the odd pop. It also grades VG+.
The yellow and silver Argo labels are in excellent condition and it comes in an excellent condition plain white inner sleeve.
Great listen and a jazz collectable that is getting scarcer.
NB This is Record 2, issued separately to Record 1, hence Side 3 and Side 4 on the vinyl.
Sensible offers above the start price welcome.
Postage and Packing: UK £4.50, Europe £14.50, Rest of the World £25 (both tracked)
