Amazing post punk with vocals not unlike Jon Anderson, the singer for Yes. Doomy, moody, ethereal & mysterious. When I heard these songs on Youtube, the above descrption was perfect. The music blew me away. I've not heard this e.p. but from what I read, the songs are alternate versions & a bit more raw.
Cover is in the shrink & vg+. The shrink is tight causing the sleeve to wrinkle on the edges. There are a couple of small tears at the sleeve opening & a small price sticker on front. Vinyl is visually ex.- It was selaed & I opened it to check the vinyl. there is a TINY MARK ( maybe 1/8 of an inch long )at the end of the first song on side two. You can hear some light clicks which get louder as the music fades out. The second song sounds excellent with no clicks. They end before the song begins.

Notes
Recorded at August Studios Liverpool.
Modern Eon were from Liverpool in the North West of England. They were a part of the"New Liverpool Scene" that sprang up in 1979-1980 around 'Eric's Club'. Others belonging to the "New Liverpool Scene" included Echo & the Bunnymen, The Teardrop Explodes, Orchestral Manoeuvers in the Dark, Dead or Alive, Pink Military and more. This is their first self-produced seven inch, on Eon Records. The particularity of this single is that "Second Still" & "Choreography" are very different from album versions, with more raw and post punk sounds. Their first appearance on vinyl was on a compilation l.p. titled Street To Street: A Liverpool Compilation.
