Payment | Shipping Pre-Dog Monarch Victor 3002 (Jan 3, 1901) 2nd 10" issue
Eldridge R. Johnson and Victor announced the first 10" records in early 1901. The initial number in the series was 3001 by S.H. Dudley. Here is the second one in the series (#3002), also by Dudley who self-announces and sings "The Tale Of The Kangaroo." This is from "The Burgomaster."
As was usual in this early stage of recording (done on January 3, 1901), Dudley is accompanied by just a piano.
This single-sided 78rpm disc is in V+ condition. There are some light surface scratches, one of which ticks a couple of times. There is some label scuffing.
