Description

If you like your disc records really truly old, then the record shown may be of interest.  Pictured is a pre-dog, Victor Monarch record titled "My Jersey Lily" by Dan W. Quinn.  It is record number 3151.  This record is pretty darn good shape for its age.  It was brushed but not washed.  It still has noticeable soiling and should probably be washed.  It played with what I would call average to average plus surface noise.  It's a pretty strong recording and the noise does not completely overpower the tune.  I would think that a good bath, and play with a good acoustic reproducer (rather than my electric cheapo) would improve its sound.  It played without any loud pops, repeating scratches etc.  This disc has no chips, cracks, gouges or other horrors.  Just a pretty good old disc.  Hope you see something that will fill a void in your collection.  Thanks for stopping by!  (I'm listing one other pre-dog Victor Monarch tonight.  Check my other auction.  Combining wins to save shipping is no problem.  Just wait for a combined item invoice).

A word about my lack of feedback.  I've been a member of eBay for almost 12 years.  However, I haven't sold anything in the last couple.  In that time, eBay revised their feedback policy to, in my mind, the detriment of both buyers and sellers.  I for one no longer believe that a buyers feedback can be counted on as sellers can only leave positive feedback.  Sellers too are at a disadvantage since buyer feedback can be used to hold them "hostage".  I worked long and hard to maintain a perfect feedback record over the years and I have no interest in seeing it being artificially altered.  To that end, I established this new seller I.D. to use for my resumed sales activity.  If you wish to check my true feedback, go to the site map, click view a members feedback and then type in:  lietz.  If you go back a couple of years you will see lots of very happy buyers I've dealt with.
PLEASE READ THIS PART!!  Also, used to be I always charged actual shipping costs only.  There was never a "packing" or "handling" fee.  However, eBay has now decided that buyers and sellers are too stupid to decide after the sale if the buyer wants the item insured.  Therefore, because eBay will hold me responsible for the shipment regardless of who damages or looses it, ALL items will be insured.  This insurance is a part of the total shipping cost shown.  Ebay is making things more and more difficult for sellers who try to do right by their customers and offer them choices.  Sorry for what may seem like high-ish shipping charges.  Thanks for your understanding.
