Description

For auction, a Beautiful Copy of the superb Pre-War 78 by Sylvester Weaver on Okeh 8480. The cuts are Guitar Rag, and Damfino Stomp, and date from 1927. Sylvester Weaver was one of the great East Coast Pre-War Blues guitarists, and played and sang in a quiet, restrained, yet emotive style. The disc is in superb E/-E condition, with very little play wear. There are some light scuffs that are silent in silent. The disc is flat as a pancake, and plays superbly. I am very experienced with 78's, and will ship this fragile record in a 12 x 6 inch box, loaded with packing peanuts, so it will get to you safely.  Please note this is a 3 day auction, closing Wednesday night, so bid quickly.
