Up for sale is a nice 10 inch, Victor, shellac record (78 RPM) featuring a couple of great pre-war jazz/blues tunes, performed by a mysteriously named trio.

So who were "Three's a Crowd"? They consisted of Carl Kress (guitar), Jerry Sears (piano), and Paul Ricci (clarinet). They recorded a total of 6 sides for Bluebird in 1938.
"I Would Do Anything For You" was composed in 1932. The song sometimes goes by the titles "Anything For You" or "I Would Do Most Anything For You".
"Dallas Blues" was written in 1912 and is claimed, by some, to be the very first published blues tune. Others give the credit to two other 12 bar blues tunes: "I Got the Blues" (1908) and "Oh, You Beautiful Doll" (1912). "Dallas Blues" was written as a instrumental (as it is performed by Isham Jones). The lyrics were not composed until 1918. The song has been covered by multiple artists, including Louis Armstrong.
