TITLE: Rockin' the Mule (Back In Kansas) b/w Switchen' In the Kitchen
CONDITION:
Labels: Have some ring wear and Side A has 3 small stamp marks
Record: This record has been played a lot as evidenced by lots of light surface scuffs and groove wear but no real scratches. It is also a little rough around the outer edge of the record w/ a few very tiny light chips that do not affect anything. Plays a pretty amazing VG++ w/ some light random background surface noise. / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: Original copy of this savage & wild 2-sider, a 1958 Black Rocker by Pretty Boy who is really Don Covay. The A Side is a wild uptempo track w/ two blastin' sax solos. This track was later made famous again by my friend Barrence Whitfield. The B Side is almost as wild (which is sayin' something) w/ poundin' piano, riffin' saxes and cool background guitar and a blastin' sax solo.
NOTE: VPI cleaned means that this record was cleaned on a professional $500 cleaning machine, which does wonders for the playback of all vinyl records!
