An absolutely OUTSTANDING album by Pretty Lights featuring an incredible collection of tracks carefully crafted by Derek Vincent Smith. The technique used to create an authentic "old vinyl" sound is nothing short of impressive; after recording and pressing several unique sections, those records were then mixed to create the final sound of this album. This lends incredibly well to the final album pressing, an INCREDIBLE piece of 2010's jam/EDM/lo-fi. An album like this is why Pretty Lights is held in such high regard, and I have enjoyed a solid number of spins of this 2 LP set. My personal favorite track is "Yellow Bird," as it really does capture the essence of 60's/70's pressings. This GORGEOUS record could be yours!
