I don't believe in hyperbole or the multiple use of exclamation marks. I simply sell honestly graded quality vinyl. And I hope that the records will speak for themselves.

The lps are play graded using a Clearaudio Reference turntable, air bearing arm and Shilabe cartridge.

All rare records are professionally cleaned prior to dispatch, using a Loricraft PRC4 record cleaning machine with L'Art du Son cleaning fluid (The best in the world).

I sell lps from a wide style of music - including Rare Groove, Jazz, Funk, Dance, Rock, Indie, Hip Hop, Soul, R&B from the 60's, 70's, 80's 90's 0's. All are original pressings unless otherwise stated.

My lps are graded as per standard guidelines -

M - mint - record as new, shiny- like just went out from factory - played only few times or never; cover as new NM - near mint - record as new, shiny with small almost invisible marks, cover almost as new Ex - excellent - record in great shape, may have light marks, played more than a few times but low in surface noise; cover - may be little cut on corners and edges and little fade in colours, or price stickers. VG+ - very good plus - record played more times, more marks on it, it doesn't skip, more surface noise, cover with marks on the edges, colour has lighten up VG - very good - record has been played many times, more surface noise, but it shouldn't skip while playing; cover - may be more cuts on corners and edges, or little writing or little stickers, and more fading in colours. G - record or cover are in bad condition - worth only like archive items - just to have that until you find better, sometimes when the vinyl is first pressing it sounds much better (especially singles)

I will combine lps - and will add the amount I am charged by the Post Office to the quoted prices



P&P charges
I need to cover the cost of postage and packing materials, but I try not to charge more for packing and posting your item than it actually costs me. I do not view P&P costs as a means of making money.

However, to quote an exact cost for every LP is difficult because of the wide variance in weight (e.g. Abbey Road weighs around 230 grams whereas Led Zeppelin III weighs around 390 grams). But the majority of single LPs, when packed, will weigh around 500-550 grams and I have based my P&P rates on this. 

Occasionally, you may end up paying a few pence more than it actually costs me and occasionally you may end up paying a few pence less than it actually costs me. If there is a significant discrepancy in your favour I will refund the difference.


Double LPs will be charged as two LPs, triple LPs will be charged as three LPs. Box sets etc will be charged according to weight.



UK P&P costs


UK Standard service - items are sent quickly and securely using first class post. The cost for this is as follows:
 
First LP or 12" = £4.50, each additional LP or 12" add £1.00
First 7" or CD = £2.50, each additional 7" or CD add £0.80


UK Special Delivery - Any order valued over £46 will be sent fully insured using Royal Mail Special Delivery and the total cost of this will be £7.50.  Multiple-item orders weighing more than 1kg or items valued over £500 will cost slightly more to insure, so please wait for my invoice before paying.

Overseas orders will ONLY be sent fully insured. I include insurance on all invoices. Basic insurance (for items valued up to £46) is included to the costs below. 

Europe
First LP or 12" = £10.95, each additional LP or 12" add £2.00.
First 7" or CD = £6.85, each additional 7" or CD add £0.60.
 
Rest of the world (anywhere outside Europe)
First LP or 12" = £14.45, each additional LP or 12" add £3.50.
First 7" or CD = £8.15, each additional 7" or CD add £0.90.


 
Overseas orders valued between £46 and £500 will be insured for an additional £2.60

For overseas orders valued over £500, please contact me.

Overseas orders weighing more than 2kg or valued over £500 may be split into two or more packages as appropriate so they can be sent using Royal Mail's Small Packet Rate, so please wait for my invoice on larger multiple purchases.
 
Customs declaration for overseas orders: Please note that for overseas orders outside the EU I need to complete a customs declaration and must enter the value of the package on the declaration.


You cannot carry over items from one of my auctions to another, all items must be paid for at close of each auction.
