e © AP6.0 Here we offer an LP I highly suspect if it has ever been offered or seen anywhere. The back cover states: "In your hands, is the first ever stereo long playing album recorded and manufactured in Pakistan". There's no date given on the album or label but judging from the info I received from a former Pakistani collector, this was released in 1966. The fact that the release of Pakistan's first LP record has been reserved to a beat band is truly exciting and nice. Silhouettes was a six piece band, very much influenced by Ventures and Shads but much before the Indian bands, they took electric sitar center stage and incorporated local sounds and music with rock! The album features some softer tunes balanced with more upbeat ones and almost all songs feature electric sitar! It's an instrumental LP and all material are either folk based or original compositions! A-m-a-z-i-n-g rarity! No reserve!

Cover is EX--, no writings, no tears, no splits; only some dusty look due to former poor storage. Disc is VG+ with healthy grooves and no scratches but with thin hairline marks. Plays with some surface noise despite the great look of the grooves -- I strongly assume that comes from the pressing which also is loud and that makes an enjoyable listen.
