Description

Melotone 12877 by Jack Kelly and South Memphis Jug Band: Highway No. 61, Blues No. 2 b/w Cold Iron Bed. Recorded August 1, 1933, and released in the depth of the depression. Not many copies of this sold then, or remain today. Fine string band with a sound that foretells the Chicago blues sound. Shellac has even light wear, light groove wear, and no digs, gouges or obvious scratches. V+. Please check back for the sound clips.
