German import 1st release of Prince's 'Batman' Motion Picture Soundtrack album (1989, dir. Tim Burton) issued at the same time as the Danny Elfman score album.

Featuring original songs by Prince and one co-performed by Sheena Easton.

The movie starred Jack Nicholson, Kim Basinger and Michael Keaton.

Condition (refer also to notes at bottom):
VINYL: F. Multiple scratches and surface scuffs on each side. Side 2 has a large area of scuffing. Played just pre-listing and sounds crackly at run-ins and throughout. Loud sequences eradicate surface noise but bad surface noise persists during fade-ins/outs etc. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. Probably little more than a collection filler.
OUTER SLEEVE/COVER: G-VG. Superb clean gloss cover both sides. Creasing in from edges, scuffing to corners. Some minor dents, spine splits. Aperture only lightly nicked and colours look great on both sides. Back sleeve has more creases, dents and disc outline. A good example. INNER SLEEVE: VG. Original picture inner sleeve has light creasing and crinkling. Disc outline visible but intact.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
