Description
This Beautiful Experience is a 1994 EP by Prince, released under his symbolic moniker "The Artist Formerly Known As Prince." It features seven tracks, all remixes of his hit single "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World", which became his first and only UK number-one single. The EP was released on May 17, 1994, by NPG Records and distributed by Bellmark Records, celebrating the success of the original single.
The EP includes notable remixes such as:
"Beautiful" – a dance-oriented version with new vocals "Mustang Mix" – a slower, R&B-infused take with additional lyrics and a spoken section "Flutestramental" – an instrumental track featuring flute by Eric Leeds "Staxowax" – a mid-tempo mix with layered vocals and a sample from Salt-N-Pepa’s "Shoop" The US CD release featured unique packaging with a fold-out butterfly insert and a 10×10″ color booklet. The EP peaked at number 18 on the UK Singles Chart and is considered a pivotal release in Prince’s move toward artistic independence from Warner Bros.
