A menacing ska version of the Perry Mason TV show theme, backed with a ballad crooned by the Prince. Graded as VG- the record plays thru very well but there is some background hiss. Note the #36 Charles Street address stamped on the label - after Buster moved to Orange Street this became the location of Lee Perry's Upsetter shop. Although I don't list records often on ebay, I've been collecting, selling and trading Jamaican records on and off since 1985. The records in this auction were mostly purchased from shops and sound systems in Jamaica from 1985-1993 & all are original Jamaican pressings unless otherwise noted. All of the discs have been thoroughly cleaned with an ultra-sound machine, this allows every molecule of baked-on Jamaican dust and dirt to be dug out of the grooves without damaging the vinyl. This means that both new-old-stock and used records generally sound much better than they would otherwise. Check my other auctions, I am auctioning a bunch of killer/rare ska sides this week, and will be listing more ska and rocksteady in the near future.
