Prince Far I – Message For The King – Carib Gems CGLP 1003 LP (UK)
Very rare original 1977 pre-release of an album put out the following year as Message From The King on Virgin (FL 1013). No title information on the labels, but the track listing is as follows: (A-side): ‘Message From The King’, ‘The Dream’, ‘Commandment Of Drugs’, ‘Moses Moses’, ‘Blackman Land’; (B-side): ‘Concrete Column’, ‘Dry Bone’, ‘Foggy Road’, ‘Wisdom’, ‘Armageddon’. Pretty underrated album with some killer tracks, including the title track (with Joseph Hill), ‘Blackman Land’, ‘Concrete Column’ and ‘Armageddon’.Condition: Near mint. This copy has been only a handful of times. Clean labels, which are the exact same on both sides (please see scan); comes in a generic white sleeve.
