Description

For auction is an promo copy of Prince's seminal album Purple Rain. This promo copy is especially special and rare because it is also on purple vinyl. This album was sold to us by a gentleman who worked for Warner Brothers records in the 1980s and therefore it is in basically 100% perfect mint condition. It looks like he never listened to it.

  • The jacket is overall in NM condition. Near the top of the jacket there is a teeny-tiny bit of rub wear, but you really have to be looking for it.
  • The disc is in similar NM condition. It looks as perfect and glossy as the day it was made. No scratches, scuffs, or anything of that type.
  • Comes with original inner sleeve and fold out poster. See pictures.
  • I would absolutely say this is the nicest (and most rare) version of Purple Rain I have ever seen. If you are a true Prince collector, this is the copy for you. You may never see one this pristine again.
