Product/Provenance
Purple Rain was the third single from Prince's seventh album Purple Rain (the first album to be credited to Prince and the Revolution). The single was the second to be credited to Prince and the Revolution.
It was released ten weeks after the album, and received a release around the world. Unusually, God (Love Theme From Purple Rain) was available on international versions of the single, but not in the US, where it has never had an official release.
The single continued Prince's run of success, reaching number 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart, and number 4 on the Billboard Black Singles Chart, it also peaked at No’s 8 in the UK.

Condition (See Photos)
Sleeve - Excellent, free of any splits rips or tears. The promo record was issued to stations with one of two sleeve variations. A title specific sleeve and a generic/plain WB sleeve which is the example present here.
Vinyl - Mint, unplayed.
Labels - N Mint, never used however some slight ageing is present.
