Description
Selling my copy of Prince's Purple Rain as I have several copies in my collection. I listened to this copy today in remembrance of his life, and it played and sounded perfect on my technics 1200.
This is the original press and plated by the famous SLM. This is a great version to have. It sounds miles better than the RSD version that came out a few years back. I ended up selling that one as it didn't sound as warm to these original copies.
This one includes the original poster, and there are no splits in the seems of the jacket. The lyrics are printed on the inner sleeve which is in great/mint condition.
Poster measures 22x28 inches.
I've only played this copy a handful of times. I bought it as a new old stock from a collector.
Included is the original plastic wrap with the original 1984 price tag from tower records.
There's another price tag on it with the price that the person before me bought it for. It stayed new and unplayed until my possession in 2005.
RIP Sweet Prince.
Record will be sent out priority mail in a vinyl record mailer purchased from Amoeba Records to ensure tracking and safety. I've had too many nightmares with media mail.
Edit:4/23. Added more photos because the originals were a little dinky
