Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
- This copy is in the original Factory Sealed Shrink Wrap.
- Sealed copies have a sticker on the cellophane wrapping. The sticker features the "Balloon Boy" being carried away. The balloon reads: "Prince And The Revolution Around the World In a Day" (see photo).
- The Paisley Park label copy sheet is a real one-off Prince collectable.
- This sheet has the Prince & The Revolution logo on the letterhead followed by "Around The World In A Day" followed by Prince's sequencing for Side One and Side Two. This is what he sent to Warner Brothers Records to enable WB to create the official label copy sheet.
- Note the uniqueness of the different fonts and type styles for each song title.
- This literally fell out from between a batch of Prince records that had been stored in a box in the Seller's garage for the last 37 years.
- I cannot represent for sure that Prince himself typed this but it is possible and it did come from Paisley Park. It is an original, not a photo copy.
- The Seller acquired this from WB Records in 1983.
