(Home Made Records, 1978)
Private pressing on acetate - obscure stuff here. Appears to be the same Al Smith that recorded "Up All Night" which there is at least one known copy of, also an acetate. Paste on front and back cover.
Sounds range from David Crosby/Neil Young downer psych to Eno/Kraftwork style electronics. And sometimes meet in the middle.
I've made sample audio tracks of three of the tracks - I Fell in Love, Clock Works (taken at the end - where it gets more fun) and Quite a Time.
All clips recorded directly from the vinyl, no effects added. It's not ideal (it really magnifies minor defects that often are not audible in regular playback) but should give you a general idea of play condition of the record.
See pics for tracks. Tracks 1 and half of track 2 on side 2 are not playable as a piece of the surface has flaked off. Plays very well everwhere else - although the first 20 seconds of Side 1 has a bit of surface noise due to some small surface edge flaking and some dust. I will leave the cleaning of this record to the winner.
Condition: Cover: VG-, Edge and corner shelf wear, creasing, 2 inch seam split on top seam. Age discoloration. light ringwear. Vinyl: See note above, this condition refers to the playable surface: VG+, glossy and clean with a few hairlines and surface scuffs. clean labels.

Return Policy: If you are unhappy with your item - let us know. This doesn't happen often, but when it does we take it seriously. You can return it for full credit within seven days of receiving the item.
RECORD GRADING
We grade conservatively, and aim to describe the records accurately. We grade visually according to Goldmine standards, with the addition of an Excellent (VG++ or E)grade for the hazy grey area between Near Mint and VG+. This grade applies to records with one minor flaw that makes it no longer Near Mint, but still above VG+.
