Private Press Stoner,Loner Psych,Folk Roger Sherman Ruling Planet!
O.K. Here is one you Don't have! Roger is from Bennington Vt. He recorded this alone in his room using a voice duplicator,acoustic guitar and an electronic drummer(phased).
Obvious Beatles influences on the psych end,Roger plays with his Falsetto and the duplicator on "Deep inside","Come with Me" is epic! "Other World" is exactly that...."Under My Shelter" take a wild guess.This guy is the reason I started collecting these private press records in the first place,he's from my home town and this is the only copy I've dug up and I've tried...I've put it high because I really don't want to sell it even though I promised myself I would weed out my collection and just concentrate on Jazz....oh yeah,rumor has it that Roger and his brother drove from Bennington Vt. to Hampton Beach N.H.(4 hours) to take this picture,Roger got out,Gary took the picture then they both got in and drove back to Vermont...As Roger says in his Liner notes-"Being an experimental songwriter is like standing on the shores of another world,letting your thoughts run wild on the plains of the universe"Rogers-Ruling Planet-Saturn-on ENDLESS RECORDS...sometime in the 70's.
